We are seeking an experienced and results-driven App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist to enhance the visibility, discoverability, and conversion rates of our mobile apps across app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile marketing strategies, keyword optimization, creative assets, and A/B testing to drive app downloads and user acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • ASO Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive ASO strategy to improve app rankings, downloads, and user engagement across app stores.
  • Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for app titles, descriptions, and tags.
  • App Metadata Management: Optimize app store metadata, including app titles, descriptions, and subtitles, following best practices and guidelines for each platform.
  • Creative Asset Optimization: Collaborate with design teams to create and test compelling app icons, screenshots, and preview videos to improve click-through rates (CTR).
  • A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests on app store assets (titles, screenshots, icons, etc.) to identify what drives the highest conversion rates.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor app store strategies and performance to identify opportunities and benchmark best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze app performance metrics (impressions, downloads, conversions, etc.) to measure the success of ASO efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to align ASO strategies with broader business goals.
  • Market Trends: Stay updated on the latest ASO tools, techniques, and app store algorithm changes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in ASO, mobile marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of app store algorithms, ranking factors, and guidelines for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing app performance data using tools like Sensor Tower, App Annie, or Google Play Console.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with keyword research tools and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Creative Skills: Ability to collaborate with designers and provide feedback on visual and video assets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present strategies and results effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in app store algorithms or guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile app marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they align with ASO.
  • Basic understanding of app development and UI/UX design.
