About the role
Cybis Technologies is hiring a Video Editor to work on-site at our Lahore studio. You will produce scroll-stopping content for client campaigns, product launches, and our own brand channels, collaborating daily with marketing, design, and engineering teams.
This is an on-site role at our Lahore office. You will sit with strategists, designers, and developers — not in a silo — so feedback loops are fast and campaigns ship the same week they are briefed.
You will own the edit from raw footage through export: hooks, pacing, captions, sound, and platform-specific cuts for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and landing pages. We work on real client accounts across sports, e-commerce, apps, and games.
We use AI-assisted tools to accelerate rough cuts and versioning, but final creative judgment, brand safety, and performance iteration are yours. If you care about retention in the first three seconds, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for ads, social media, explainers, and case studies.
- Apply motion graphics, captions, sound design, and brand-safe colour grading.
- Repurpose long footage into platform-native cuts (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Collaborate in-person with SEO and paid media teams on hooks, CTAs, and performance iterations.
- Maintain organised project files, exports, and version history on local and shared drives.
- Attend weekly creative reviews and client presentation sessions at the office.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showing ads, social content, or product videos.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Understanding of Meta, YouTube, and TikTok video specs and best practices.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative on-site team environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lahore, Pakistan (Monday–Friday).
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted editing tools.
- Basic knowledge of ASO/SEO content formats.
- Urdu/English bilingual captioning experience.
